Snow Creme
submitted by Angela
This is a different variation from how I make mine, but I have been making mine since I was small. I usually just get a bowl of snow, add a cup or two of sugar, some vanilla extract, it doesn't take much, and about a quart of regular milk, and I stir it all together. After you make it for a while, you acquire your own recipe, but I do have this recipe here, that sounds good too, I thought all of you out there who gets snow may want to try making this. We make this here in the Carolinas.
*Only one warning, my dad use to tell me always wait until the second snow, to make sure it was clean and not ice.
2 quarts or more of
clean white snow
2 quarts of milk
1 can Eagle Brand milk
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Mix all the ingredients together, use enough snow to make it thick.
Make sure it is mixed very good, then put in the freezer for 1 hour.
Serve!!
